Seokbulsa, Seokbul Temple, is a Buddhist temple carved into rock. One of the city's most intriguing temples because of the Buddhist imagery carved into the massive 130 foot high boulders jutting out from Geumjeong Mountain. Forming a U-shaped enclave with three rock facings the place is now a place of worship. Inside the enclave enormous Buddhist images have been meticulously carved into stone.
