Goryeo Celadon Kiln Site at Gangjin is not far from Goheung. The Goheung area is one of the southern most parts of South Korea, a peninsula actually, with the largest city being Goheung. Geumsan is the small farming village very close to Goheung. Geumsan is where Oki is from and still has many relatives still living in the area.
We arrived at a very busy time. The garlic was being harvested and the rice seedlings were being planted.
The Palyeongdaegyo (grand Bridge) opened in early 2017, on National Route 77, connects to Yeongnam Township, Goheung County, to the island of Jeokgeumdo.
