Eumseong Mitasa North Chungcheong Province South Korea
Mitasa (temple) is a large Buddhist temple complex in Eumseong-gun (county) with a memorial park on the lower level and worship halls on the higher level. Mitasa claims that the large Buddha statue at the center of the memorial park is the highest in Korea. Half way up the mountain is the "Rock-carved Standing Buddha at Mitasa" from the Goryeo Era (918–1392), Chungcheongbuk-do Cultural Heritage #130.
