Naju Simhyangsa South Jeolla Province South Korea
Simyangsa was established by Wonhyo (617-686) in the Unified Silla era. Originally called Mireukin, was renamed to Simwangsa. Simyangsa is a sub-temple of Beakyangsa.

The temple is Jeonnam Tangible Cultural Property #88.

Three-story Stone Pagoda Outside the North Gate, Naju, is a three-level, 3m/10ft tall stone pagoda, at Simyangsa thought to have been built in the early Goryeo period.

Initially erected outside Naju-eup Fortress North Gate, was moved to Geumseonggwan in 1915. When Geumseonggwan was remodeled in 2006, it was relocated here to Simhyangsa.

The pagoda was originally made of granite with black gneiss (a laminated metamorphic rock similar to granite) gapseok (flat stone laid upon another stone), a part of which was broken and replaced with granite in 2006. Although overall it is small, it has such a graceful shape that people in Naju call it the 'Dwarf Pagoda,'
